Although the youngsters are trying to project themselves better and market themselves better, the overall innocence of the event has been retained. It has not yet become a commercial venture that focuses on maximum mileage even if performance is ordinary.
The fact that the folk festival has retained its innocence is clearly seen from the duration of the festival. The entire festival lasts for eighteen long days. With the music being showcased around the clock, there is ample scope for a huge amount of talent to be showcased in the festival.
