The Kerrville Wine and Music Festival does not have any pretensions to be as big or as famous as the 18 days Folk Festival in Kerr county. Rather, this is a smaller but equally fun and entertaining festival that started in 1992. The Folk Festival is held in spring while the ‘Little Folk’ Kerrville Wine and Music Festival is held over the Labor Day weekend.

The festival has musical concerts on evenings with two hours and even six hour recitals for music enthusiasts.

Wine enthusiasts can check out different types of wines and learn more about wine tasting, sampling and preparation in numerous seminars that are conducted for all participants. Not surprisingly, this festival attracts a large number of persons other than musicians and wine lovers. Holiday goers, those who love camping, those who love beer and those who want fresh air combined with good food and great company – these are just some persons who cannot ignore this entertaining festival.

The combination of tasty wine, expert advice, good music, great company and delicious food is a deadly combination for vacationers and holiday goers alike.

Wine is served in the evening along with concert. Those who make wine showcase their products and use it to market their efforts better. Those who do not drink wine can check out delicious smoothies and other nonalcoholic beverages that are laid up for consumption.

The festival has a very good reputation for offering scrumptious food three times a day. If you are looking for an excuse to get out of town and do something different, just check out whether you can travel to Texas for this wonderful festival in Kerr county.
